Cleantech is a new generation company focused on bringing advanced technology into energy and environment industry. It does so by linking up with a group of progressive companies and centres of technology excellence in the USA, Europe, Asia and other places. The founder of the company Dr. Abbas Al-Qattan earned his Masters from the Colorado School of Mines and PhD at the Stevens Institute of Technology, USA.

Cleantech is closely tied up with Stevens Institute, which operates one of the most advanced centers for researching energy and environmental science in the USA. The US government, leading energy and chemical companies extensively use Steven’s intellectual resources to undertake leading edge research projects. For instance, recently Stevens won lead role in €44 million European Co-operation in Science and Technology (COST) Action.

Cleantech has formed an alliance with Xella International, one of the technologically advanced companies with environment research programs supported by the German government. Xella is currently developing a technology that will offer oil and mining companies the option of converting their highly toxic waste material into energy and other clean by-products with zero environmental pollution.
